Inspired by the Stapelliege by Rolf Heide, we constructed a 90x200 bed for a fan of the « star wars-generation ». The bed is still square-shaped like a bed, but the form is rather unusual. The feeling is one of nostalgia , and it reminds of "The fleet of the republic". Three plywood handmade beds are stacked onto one another - in terms of design and comfort one can sleep on top, or stack them apart recreating the old dormitory atmosphere. The design is non-invasive and discreet - the mattress is higher than the frame, thus the perfect bed for a Pyjama party where you can construct an endless mattress universe for big and small to lay and play.
