This kitchen incorporates materials traditionally used in boatbuilding. The drawers open on a light tension onto a sail twine-knot. Oak wood, assembled without nails or screws, is the solid body for the concrete countertop. The working space is framed by an abstract landscape drawn on glass.
A wonderful alliance of concrete and wood. By combining industrial recycled elements with natural materials several worlds interact harmoniously : some were growing naturally and others are man-made and are atemporal. Different perceptions of time merge into a central piece of furniture in the heart of the kitchen.
