For a designer, working on furniture in a kindergarden is a fun challenge because the guidelines and rules for the choice of materials, functions, dimensions and safety components are strict according to child protection regulations.
In collaboration with architects we developed intelligent solutions for the production of appropriate furniture, introduced a whole new concept for a large wall drawing in the reception area, and laid down a mosaic with playful patterns using tiny bathroom tiles. We combined playful with functional spaces: adding important storage where there was none, designed fall-protection that was appealing to the eye, and created visual and physical elements of stimulation.... a colourful yet sleek, pedagogical and thematic production adapted for children aged one to five.
